Without exaggeration, the transaction we completed with Kim's assistance was the most positive I have ever experienced. Kim was the listing agent on the house we purchased in Lewes, DE. We had only 4 days in the area and I called and asked to see the house as well as another one. She was available to show us the house in that short timeframe. Kim was very friendly and upbeat. The new rules for real estate agents had just gone into effect and we discussed the matter at length. Her take on the rules matched mine which was a relief because there is a great deal of confusion in the industry, as discussed in the media. At all times Kim was forthright in her dealings with me although she was also representing the sellers of the house. Kim handled both sides of the negotiations over the sale price and I was impressed with her honesty and integrity in doing so. Kim was a consummate professional at all times. In addition, Kim went the extra mile at every step of the process: recommending an inspection company, dealing with the local lawyer, handling the paperwork and phone calls that I could have done myself. She dealt with the sellers on a few post-inspection issues and we resoled all of them to our satisfaction. She was in touch with me on a regular basis, always cheerful and always offering assistance for whatever needed to be done. She also had great insight into the local area and recommended places to go and things to see and do. I am not someone who writes testimonials often. In fact, I am impatient with the way businesses are always looking for a "rating" from me as if I am their marketing agent. LOL. Kim is the absolute BEST! During the entire process of selling my father's condo in Ocean City after his passing, she was always in touch with me. She went above and beyond. She arranged to have the condo furniture removed and even made sure that some deserving folks received furniture and other items from the house. It made me so happy to know that my father's items weren't thrown into a landfill! Kim also arranged to have the floors updated, the entire place painted and the bathrooms to be updated as well. She took care of EVERYTHING! I live in Northern Virginia, so getting to Ocean City, MD was nearly impossible. She was my eyes and ears. She and I chatted on video so she could show me things at the property, etc. She even boxed up and shipped a few mementos that I wanted to keep. Kim Bowden was exactly what I needed. She helped me sell a property which hindered me from buying another property. She spent much time in selling the house. It was a short sale, so of it took awhile to sell it. She never said she couldn't do it. Once that was done I was clear to buy another property in a year and a half. Kim was.
